Celebrating our Volunteers- 2023 end of year gathering

In November we held our annual Volunteer Gathering to celebrate our Volunteers and the exceptional contribution they make to hundreds of people who use our services and who live with us at Bindaree and Buckland House.

Our Volunteers were joined by Board members Katie Lockey and Richard Ray, our CEO Cameron Butler and staff for thank you speeches, service awards, tips on self-care, a delicious lunch (thankyou Red Door catering!) and a photoshoot.

Jodie Bell, MDH’s Volunteer Coordinator thanked all Volunteers for their contribution to activities including Meals on Wheels, Spring Club, Men’s Group, Aqua Moves, Community Support, the Hospital Auxiliary, companionship, gardening, aged care activities and morning tea and afternoon teas. Jodie also shared some interesting facts about 2023.
